Dr Shona Edmonds is a paediatric surgeon who trained at Universiti Malaya and public hospitals within the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She performs a wide range of surgery on children from the newborn period up to 18 years old. The most common include daycare procedures such as inguinal hernias, undescended testes in young boys and circumcision. She is adept with complex neonatal surgeries for congenital and acquired disorders as well as thoracic, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and oncologic surgery in older infants and children. Dr Shona also performs minimally invasive surgery in cases where appropriately indicated.
